Forever and ever and ever

I've decided that Strawberry Fields Forever completely rocks the shit. I like the original version okay, but all of the alternate versions/edits on the Apple Recordings double disc, all stripped down and bare reveal just how beautiful the song really is: both conceptually and musically.
I have about 13 versions on my ipod right now. Richie Havens' and Cyndi Lauper's covers are both worth finding and owning. If you really want to trip yourself out, I'd highly recommend compiling as many (good) versions as you can and listen to them all in a row. If you don't cry, you're not human.
