Beth Ditto couldn't be cooler

The first time I saw the Gossip, they were opening for Sleater-Kinney in Denver in 2000. They were mind blowing, inspiring and I shouldn't have to say that seeing a chubby girl up on stage *killing it* totally changed my life.

Beth has a hell of a voice and more presence than any other modern front-person I can think of.

I don't know how I missed this cover of NME last month, but I did and now I'm mad that I didn't have a chance to buy it.

Whatever your tastes, preferences or feelings about us fatty girls - you have to admit it's frigging cool to see a real woman being proud of her jiggly bits on the cover of an international rock magazine.
