Relack the crack!
Once again, I have no knitting whatsoever to talk about. I'm a bad, bad knit blogger. Angie and I played a house show down in the U.C. (a.k.a. Utah County, a.k.a., veezavee Provo) last night. Angie felt sick, I was (and still am, I might add) nursing the tired hangover from the Le Tigre show. We drove down in the rain, listening to The Cure. Helllllooooo! Needless to say, we weren't a bundle of energy when we arrived. The house was PACKED...and hot and somebody smelled like lunch meat. I suffered a minor social-phobic panic attack, but then we played and everything was fine. The bands we played with were all very nice and the crowd was lovely. *a bit fashionista for me, but they didn't seem to mind that I have no style, so it was ok.
We didn't get home until very late, meaning I've had about 4 hours of sleep and seriously need a nap.
The good news is that my laptop came yesterday. The bad news is that I need to reinstall Windows, bla bla bla ad nauseum before I can really use it all. Hopefully, I will be able to get all the stuff I need and take care of it over the weekend. (It will most likely be Monday or Tuesday, but I'm being an optimist). The only drawback to having the computer is that I won't be able to make any more excuses about getting started on my grad school applications. *shiver*
Wish me luck.

Good luck! (so, i'm literal. what of it?) Anyway, I started a pair of the hand warmers from Weekend Knits last night. I had to start it over twice, because I missed the fact that it's on straights. I was trying to do garter stich in the round on double-points. Impossible. I finally got smart. Maybe I'll finish the pair this weekend while you're being a computer geek. (La Lisa)
